🌸 Introducing our signature dish: Lu Rou Fan (minced pork rice)!🐷🍚

Lu rou fan, though a simple dish of braised meat and rice, is the quintessential Taiwanese comfort food. For us, it’s the first thing we ask Kumi - our Ama (grandma) - to make when we go home.

When selecting our pork, we look for a balanced ratio of lean to fatty meat for the perfect blend of melt and bite. Then, our pork belly is braised and simmered for 6 hours in a rich savory broth to achieve that signature melt-in-your-mouth texture. The lu rou is ladled over a pillow of steamed rice and served with a gooey braised egg and crunchy pickled cucumber.
